Caite McNeil is a writer and illustrator whose work is place-based and often humorous, pulling inspiration from a childhood in rural Maine and an adulthood in the Bay Area. Her latest project is a collection of graphic essays and comics.

Her essays have been published in The Tahoma Review, Carte Blanche, MUTHA Magazine, Flyway Journal of Writing and the Environment, The Dewdrop, Speculative Nonfiction, and elsewhere

She received her MFA from Stonecoast MFA and lives in Midcoast Maine with her husband and young child.
